Brilliant op-ed from the Huffington Post:

There was a TV ad for deodorant that said, "Never let them see you sweat." The John McCain campaign has just showed the world that it is drenched.

It's already been explained that Hillary will be able to do more work outside of the VP role. Biden is a good complement to Obama.

McCain took a gamble (it's well established that he likes to gamble) and fortunately (for our counry) this gamble is not going to work out for him.

i beg to differ, agnewisms became famous, the greatest creator of think speak since george orwell 1984. initial deterrent strike initiative (we bombed them out of existance before they ever picked up a weapon) without agnew we would not have the current genius to attack countries that pose no threat to us and make it sound like a defense. good job. ye old commander and chief shuffle to power. without agnew the entire idea of loving peace would have not disappeared. i'm not attacking im only defending myself.

It was still the worst decision for Obama in American politics!!!! He would have had this wrapped up had he picked her.

But you guys can have fun trying to justify why she is not on the ticket, but the fact is, she was shafted.

Too bad, so sad.

I was waiting for the Huffington Post to come out with some liberal attack on Sarah Palin.

The fact is......
McCain would have been attacked had he picked a white male.
McCain would have been attacked had he picked another female.
McCain would have been attacked had he picked had he picked a racial minority.

Democrats would have been mad anyways. So, why not pick someone that might actually appeal to those who are undecided and someone who excites those who are voting for McCain?

Of course he would have been. That's the nature of a presidential race. Obama is too, by the right, obviously.

It just so happens that he has given liberal blogs the material of a lifetime. Sadly, we will ALL suffer due to that gift.

And you believe that? I'm seriously asking.

You can compare this to applying for a promotion and, when told you didn't get it, the boss says it's because you do such a good job where you're at. Nice words but, face it, you didn't get the job you wanted and for which you were qualified.

Mark my words, IF Obama is elected, he will drop Hillary like a hot potato as soon as he feels he can get away with it, just like he dropped Bill Richardson. Remember, his campaign hinted Richardson could very well be the VP when they wanted his endorsement. It's more important for him to leave Hillary out because she and Biden would overshadow him.

The Huffington Post is a pro-Obama tool. Taking their judgment on VPs as objective analysis is foolish.
