Zogby International (http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews1547.html - broken link)

The latest nationwide survey, begun Friday afternoon after the McCain announcement of Palin as running mate and completed mid-afternoon today, shows McCain/Palin at 47%, compared to 45% support for Obama/Biden.

In other words, the race is a dead heat.

The interactive online Zogby survey shows that both Obama and McCain have solidified the support among their own parties - Obama won 86% support of Democrats and McCain 89% of Republicans in a two-way head-to-head poll question not including the running mates. When Biden and Palin are added to the mix, Obama's Democratic support remains at 86%, while McCain's increases to 92%.
After the McCain "Veep" announcement on Friday, Palin was almost immediately hailed as a strong conservative, and those voters have rallied to the GOP ticket, the survey shows. Republicans gather in St. Paul, Minnesota this week to officially nominate McCain and Palin as their presidential ticket.

The interactive survey shows that 22% of those voters who supported Democrat Hillary Clinton in their primary elections or caucus earlier this year are now supporting John McCain.

I think the dems have underestimated McCain and now Palin and probably will continue to do so. McCain will make a Great President!

So, Palins choice was a 9% increase for McCain (after the conclusion of the DNC) whereas Biden was a net loss for Obama of 4% (after he initially announced his pick).

I say a 9% rebound is MUCH better than a 4% drop.

Is that how much they spent on the DNC? I was watching the end and I thought
1) This looked like a Hollywood Movie
2) Did they hire the Chinese Olympic Guys to stage this

While she is waiting, she can CLEAN. CLEAN up the dirty politics. Wash Harry Reid's mouth out with soap. OBAMA says change. But he does not CLEAN. If I CHANGE my kid's diaper and don't CLEAN FIRST(Both Cheeks), it still stinks.

I am praying that the news on Monday night is completely saturated by Gustav coverage.

It would prove to be the Repub's best friend if the coverage was NOT on the RNC on the first day when Bush/Lieberman speak.

They hired Brittany Spears stage director to do this. No kidding.

The dems spent 50 million on this freak show at the same time Americans are losing their homes and starving, if they really cared they would have cut that down and helped those people in need first.

Talk about a waste of money!

Never fear, Palin will fix the wasteful spending in Washington.
Change --
Something Obama promised his cult members and didnt come through with.
