I saw it all....he got the EMT right away and got her some water...she just fainted from the heat! Why are you making a big deal out of nothing...George Bush killed almost 5,000 soldiers in Iraq not including innocent women and children....it is in the thousands...so look who is talking...you just stuck you foot in your mouth big guy or girl!
I hope those protesters have the courage and honor to give veterans thanks for their right to protest," she said.
Some in the crowd tried to shout toward her what was really being said, but she couldn't hear them.
Some in the crowd had stood in place for more than three hours on a sunny day without shade. At least 25 people collapsed from heat-related illnesses and three were hospitalized, according to authorities with the Henrico County fire department.

Gee, you mean kind, compassionate Sara did not stop her speech and rush to be a ministering angel to all of these people? Well, that just shows how cold and heartless she is, doesn't it?
Obama called attention to it, and said, "Someone please help her, make sure she gets some water, someone give her some water" - something to that effect.
It was on CNN that several people passed out at the McCain/Palin Rally in Virginia Beach today. That rally wasn't stopped either.
When I saw Obama a few weeks ago a lady near me passed out. She was attended to quickly but the rally did not stop. I think this is happening everywhere- people are standing in line for hours then pushed into very close quarters and it gets stifiling. It would be insane for everything to stop for these people.
People line of for Obama appearance 3 and 4 hours before the gates open, then they wait another hour or two before he arrives. During that time the campaign passes out water by the truck load (free you know how socialist are) so after 5 hours in the sun, no one who has ever attended an Obama rally is surprised that more than a few folks pass out, despite the best precautions the campaign can make. So, if Obama were to stop his speech every time someone passes out, he would never be able to make a speech.
But that's why the fire department and paramedics are there (whoda thunk?).
this is a thread from august. i don't think anybody is fainting over obama anymore......
Actually my rally was two weeks ago. They are still fainting over him. Believe me.
