House and Senate in 2010, House and Senate retained, White House gained 2012.

BTW, why do they call it "gas" when it is a liquid, not a gas, and why do we DRIVE on PARKWAYS and PARK in DRIVEWAYS?

I sincerely hope it gets a lot worse for the Republicans as our economy picks up this fall and is almost booming in 2012.

you know that is like saying "I hope the Pres fails" I hope the economy inproves as well, I hate to see so many out of work and others struggling, but not for the same reasons. I want to see a properous America, regardless of who is leading our country. Isn't this what it should be about, not this nay, nay, nay, my side is better than yours.

If people who didn't think like me were as reasonable as you, we'd be able to compromise pretty easily and get the country moving forward. Perhaps the lesson to be learned is respect seems to have been thrown out the window as time goes on.

and this is why neither and I mean neither side is willing to work with the other. I am certainly a Republican and to the right of center, but I don't think everything the Democrats do is wrong or think they are all idiots. (Just Elenor Clift on McLaughlin)

Democrats have always felt that they can spend our tax dollars better than the citizens of this country can.

Judging by the decrepit conditions of cities such as Detroit, and thje totally thrashed balance sheets of states such as IL, CA, MI, NY, NJ, & CT, we have decades of history that definitely says itherwise.

If things are getting worse for anybody, it's the Democrats.

How in hell is hoping it gets worse for Republicans the same as hoping the PRESIDENT FAILS? Last I checked the current President is a Democrat trying desperately to rescue this country from Republican speculators?

Hoping the president fails from my side of the asile, means hoping America gets better. Because from where we are standing, success by Obama leads to failure for America.

Loss of freedom
govermnent control of the daily lives of more Americans
onerous regulation on small business
overall economic weakness
massive massive massive federal debt.

The current president is desperately trying to impliment extreme leftest policy at the expense of American Freedom because the WeHii thinks he knows better than we do what is good for us.

dude was fiddling with healthcare while the American Economy burned.
