I am having a very hard time figuring out how anyone can wish a devastating and deadly hurricane to affect a large city just to deflect peoples focus of the election.

How come you want someone for president who in a speech referred to Putin as the president of Germany? Is McCain just the kind of expert we need on foreign policy? Are we supposed to look up in wide eyed admiration to McCain who didn't know how many houses he and his rich wife owns? And after weathering nearly 8 years of Bush I'm astounded that anyone could possibly in their right mind vote for McCain, I mean McCain't.

Yes, as I once lived and worked in New Orleans, I have been sort of watching the hurricane news and the C-D political threads all day. Interesting stuff on C-D today but some of it from the Obamalamadingdongs regarding Sarah Palin would have fit better at Art Bell's UFO website.
