That would be USA Today/Gallup where Obama now leads 50%-43% and CBS News with Obama up 48%-40%. Obama obviously got that convention bounce he was hoping for.

CBS News started polling the evening after McCain named Sarah Palin as his running mate. However:

few voters say that having Palin on the Republican ticket will change their vote much. Just 13 percent say they are more likely to vote for McCain as a result of having Palin on the ticket, while about as many (11 percent) say they are less likely to do so.
And that's before babygate.

That'll no doubt add to McCain's "bounce".

People are for sure rethinking the "wisdom" or "genius" of J. McCain.

Obamatrons don't get to excited about this a lot is about to happen. The RNC will be actually be able to get under way and the new VP candidate will be introduced and hopefully questions answered that will influence and perhaps give McCain his convention bounce also.

You mean Palin didn't get all these women votes the Repubs were hoping for? OUCH!

Then what good is she, then?

Maybe McCain will dump her and find a REAL running mate.
