What a fantastic speech he gave!

What do you guys think?

I didn't think he was going to go after barry, but he sure did.

Sweet!

Experience, judgment and character are not Obamas best trademarks.

Joe did a great job showing us that people need to vote for their country and not for their candidate, because a certain candidate is not for our country, he is for himself.

Yep. That speech will certainly help getting all the fence sitters to vote for the correct candidate this Nov; McCain/Palin.

I'm a Dem, but was never a enthusiastic about Joe L. His speech tonight was good and I'm sure that McCain is very thankful. They have a lot of mutual respect for each other.

Since Joe Lieberman was rejected by his Democratic constituency and had to run as an Independent, I am not sure why he continues to call himself a Democrat. Oh yea, he wanted to be working with the side that ran the Senate, now I remember. And when the really bold choice was available to McCain he overlooked his experienced soulmate to move to the right.

Joe who? The guy would couldnt even win his own states primary in 2006? The guy who ran in 2006 on the pledge "to put a Democrat in the White House in 2008?"

Yea, he's another liar indeed, but what do you expect from someone who cavorts with Repugs?

Didn't like him as a Dem, and still don't like him.

I suppose the people of Connecticut know Lieberman the best & he is fascinated with the Iraq war. As others have pointed out, Lieberman's voting record is overwhelmingly liberal except for funding the war. He seems to have gone off into his own orbit ever since he ran for vice president with Gore. I can't see any gain for Lieberman unless he is certain that McCain can win & Democrats don't get veto-proof 60 senate seats.

The comments about Palin by Lieberman were very confusing considering her positions on gay rights\ abortion\ anti-union\ pro evangelical - creationism in schools, etc. If Lieberman is putting his political life into the hands of Republicans then I believe it will end soon [by losing his chairmanships\ influence Connecticut voters will end his career or more likely he will not run for office again.

Lieberman was a poor choice in 2000 just as Ferraro was in 1984.

They are both DINOs (has-been dinosaurs and Democrat-in-name-only).

When McCain loses in November, expect Lieberman to lose any consideration for better committee assignments.
