Ok folks if we accept that the vetting met HIS standards and that he is happy then:

He made a fully informed decision.

Does this speak highly or poorly about his judgment?

Will he show the judgment you want when he wakes up for the 3:00 in the morning phone call?

Frankly, he probably won't even show a readable pulse for the 3:00 in the morning phone call.

Default You're kidding?

Just what I want to think about for the next Four years.

One guy eager to do it, and a VP who doesn't know when to do it. Good grief, after this election the term 3AM should be banned. We're all gonna have nightmares.

Paging Dr. Phil

Good question. I think it shows great judgement. If you count great judgement to be pandering to the neo-cons like Bill Kristol, Limbaugh, Out-of-Focus with the Family, etc. with his pick. The fact is that nobody outside of Alaska knew anything about her except for the radical right and they pressured McCain to pick her - and he cumbled like a cookie.

You all know McCain will be elected right? If you think Alaska and the north pacific isn't highly populated, you have another thing coming....McCain and Palin will be running the white house.

Best choice for Democrats out there. Let Palin try and convince America she can handle the job of President. Harriet Miers had a much easier route to take than she is going to have.

But then again, once John McCain gets up against Barack Obama, will it even matter that he picked Palin?

I dont think the reanimated corpse of Ronnie Reagan is gonna help McCain in a head to head debate with Americans watching, no matter how hard the moderators try and help him (and they will undoubtedly not focus on issues of substance, and Obama had better speak up and ask that they do)

Even if they somehow won the election, neither of them would run the WH any more than GWB has.

I can't believe you all have him on his death bed! He may be the best thing since Ronnie Reagan!
