Thank you...but I looked down two pages and missed this.

Come on, what do you expect? Does anyone honestly think McCain has ANY grasp of rock history?
Can you imagine him at a concert? LMAO!!
Nope, much the same as I can imagine you (or me) spending 7 years in a POW camp taking brutal beatings everyday. AND, when given the opportunity to be let go because your father is a high-ranking officer, refusing that opportunity.
I'm not a fan of McCain politically, but you have to respect what he went through and not make fun of his grasp of such a ridiculous thing as "rock history" in comparison.
Think about what the man went through for all of those years and put yourself in his shoes. He deserves to be heard and not ridiculed because of his grasp of rock history. He's over 70 for crying out loud.
Fast forward 50 or so years and think about how the younger generation will make fun of you if you are in any kind of public spotlight. Would you appreciate someone LTAO at you because you simply didn't look the part or fit in?
Have some respect; the man deserves that at the very least.
Nugent is Republican, but he was for Huckabee. I don't think he cares much for McCain. But my guess is he'd pick McCain over Obama in a heartbeat. I'm sure there are rockers who support McCain. And as for Heart, Mellencamp, Jackson Browne, Springsteen, Linda Ronstadt, Dixie Chicks? I don't listen to their music anymore.
