This is odd. Every other candidate does, why is she any different? She will have to sooner or later. Why is she being protected? I read last night that after the convention she and her family was whisked away to fly back to Alaska at midnight. Are more shoes about to drop for this woman?
Maybe she's waiting to be addressed properly as GOVERNOR Palin not Ms. Palin.
I think she may have unfinished business to tend to in Alaska, getting the skeletons out of the closets for one, convincing some towns folk to keep their mouths shut, and she may want to read up on what’s happening in the rest of the country and the world perhaps.
Another thought is that Cindy may not want her to ride the “freedom express†with John!,,,, just a thought mind you. (or was that the "straight talk express"?)
Did you say something about John riding her on the expressway to freedom from Cindy?
Campaign spokespeople said on air today she isn't going to speak to the press:
They said there is no need for her to answer questions. They will tell us what we need to know.
Not quite what they said. I heard that she may or may not meet with the press. My bet is she will.
But as someone pointed out, Joe Biden spoke with no one in the press the first 7 days after the Dem convention. Once a person is chosen by either candidate, they need to be brought up to speed on the direction of the campaign.
I think it makes perfect sense to do that and would criticize neither Biden or Palin.
Everyone seems to be very nervous about this choice. I can understand that.
If and when Palin is allowed out of her cocoon, she'll be speaking in short campaign slogans to answer any questions. And her only "statements" will be the same well-worn attacks on Obama that McCain has already been coached to repeat. She won't be allowed to say anything original or substantive.
