Al Quaeda isn't just in Afghanastan. They are now all over the world. America cannot fight in every country but it should now concentrate on hitting Al Quaeda wherever they appear. Be it Pakistan. Afghanistan, Iran Syria etc. Iraq is now becoming an expensive diversion, not only in money but lives and troops. America should now finish the job in Iraq, Pull out sensibly and use inteligence to track Al Quaeda. The BIG STICK isn't working.

I agree with Noc. Wherever there are American interests, Al Quaeda will be there trying to destroy them. No matter what country that America sends it's troops to, Al Quaeda wil move to another and regroup. Then they will attack wherever they feel they can get a chance. America has to be right 100% of the time Al Quaeda only has to be lucky once.

Al Queda didn't need to be in Iraq. Iraq was doing a good enough job threatening the West on its own.

Obamas are radicals - please read.
Yes, because it is wrong to engage in protest against your government. (Our Founding Fathers didn't think so.) It's wrong to help out in clinics that aren't there for profit, but there to serve a community's health needs. It's wrong to lend a hand to someone who is down and out. It's so wrong to want to be a social worker instead of a stock broker. To want to get your hands dirty instead of just being able to send a check. BAD, BAD radicals!

Anybody realize that one of the main reasons why the surge is working is that the deposed Iraqi military and its Republican Guard are now on our payroll? The same guys, many of whom hated Saddam more than we did, (how could they not, if he was anywhere near as bad as his legend), were all sitting around on the butts of their rifles following the fall of Baghdad waiting to be called to duty by the liberators, who after a while realized that call was never going to come just went home, bitched to each other about the snub, and finally, in dire need of gainful employment, dipped into the stockpiles of mysteriously missing weaponry and gave the U.S. and its new found Shia allies all they could handle for all too long.

Agree or disagree with our decision to go into Iraq; but our disbanding of the Iraqi police and military, either out of distrust or other hidden motives, was our one biggest "blunder", if we ever had any intention of bringing that country under peaceful control.
