And now this post. I remember McCain saying a few weeks ago IF I HAVE TO FOLLOW HIM TO THE GATES OF HELL, I WILL GET BIN LADEN.
In my initital posting, I mentioned the fact that McCain had spoken about Bin Laden at one time, and you correctly stated his wording above. However, none of the candidates mentioned Bin Laden in their convention speeches, which were the ones that most Americans were paying attention to.

I'm planning on voting for McCain because I don't support Obama and his socialist ideas for more government intervention in private business. However, I felt that McCain's speech last night was rather weak. He likely would have received a much higher approval from his convention audience, as well as from the public if he had stated his strong disdain for Bin Laden in his speech, and promised that we would capture him.

And I have to ask again, did you listen at all? Go read the transcripts of the speeches. They outlined a lot of what they will do. UNLIKE OBAMA, who just keeps talking about hope and change but has yet to say anything of substance.

Well you may have a point that people were listening during the convention that might not have listened other times. I think McCain and Palin did talk about some things that people are worried about, mainly the economy that I heard. But during the debates, I think, is where we will hear more substance.

I believe that was the end of July.

I suspect we will hear more of this type of rhetoric from both candidates in coming weeks. An acceptance speech is not really the time to lay out issues, despite what the media says. It is just that- an acceptance speech.

OK, so what will Obama do about the threat of terrorism, and the capture of the terrorist who was responsible for the murders of thousands of innocent Americans? Obama really has no foreign policy experience.

Normally, I'm highly opposed to the U.S. being the police of the world ... but the U.S. was ATTACKED almost seven years ago to the day. The terrorist repsonsible for these horrendous crimes is roaming freely, and our military has pretty much ceased hunting him down ever since we diverted our efforts to Iraq.

It was exactly seven years ago on this date that America was attacked. Therefore, I'm bringing this thread to existence once again.

So what about Bin Laden, the world's most wanted terrorist??? Is anybody truly interested in finding him and giving him a well deserved torturous death?! Is the fact that he has connections to oil wealth possibly a reason why neither Clinton nor Bush took the necessary action to bring him down? Does anybody care? It seems that lately, we're more concerned with red state vs. blue state, and pigs with lipstick than we are about the threat of terrorism.
