Odd, you must have had the disney channel on because watching the speeches caused me to write out a check to a candidate for the first time in history...

McSame's message during his whole speech: "Vote for me, I was a POW in Vietnam. Did I mention I was in Vietnam?"

I think it's a good thing that about the same amount of people were watching both Obama's and McCain's acceptance speeches (Palin's speech too). People are definitely tuning in.

Not really, I was only watching his speech for the lulz. I'm sure many others were doing the same because the RNC sure was lulzworthy.

Obama has GOT to be sweating bullets right about now....
All that means is that 500,000 people decided to vote for Obama after listening to him.

I didn't listen to McCain or Palin's speech because I already am going for Obama. Same with those 500000.

So what? I watched it, but that doesn't mean I'd vote for him. I also think those on the left are more willing to watch, read, listen to the opposing sides pov, much more so than the other way around.

Default More Viewers watched McCain than Obama

Michael Calderone's Blog: Media and the 2008 Election - Politico.com

Quote:
* More than half a million more people watched John McCain’s acceptance speech (38.9 million) than Barak Obama’s the week before (38.4 million).
Wow. Who would have believed that possible?
