You lost me with 'one of the most inspirational presidents we've ever known.' Let's ask Ron, Jr. how he feels.
Ron Jr. never was and never will be the great man his father was. He showed it during Reagan's life and he's continued to show it after his death. Michael Reagan, his ADOPTED son, is aligned with his dad's politcs. And if he sees his dad in Sarah Palin, I am thrilled and I want to see more.
And, I had heard that Nancy LOVES McCain. (to my chagrin at the time since he wasn't anywhere near my first choice, but I've come to terms with it now).
Nancy has always been clueless, as have Ron Jr. and Patty. They didn't support the greatest president in our time, who was also their husband and father.
Reagan's natural kids were and are a disgrace to him. Michael Reagan thinks just like Ronald Reagan politically and he is more like his dad than Reagan's natural kids. I don't really care what Nancy, Ronnie Jr and Patty think. They didn't agree with Reagan's politics and I don't agree with theirs. Too bad the best President of our time had a family like that.
And he goes straight for the "scare" tactics.....he has cancer...cancer...cancer....

Me too - come to terms with it, that is. I know I CANNOT vote for a socialist. McCain isn't as conservative as I would like and he hasn't told me what he is going to do about illegal immigrants, and I do not want amnesty. But at least he's not a socialist and he is far more aligned with my political views that the socialist candidate.

Exactly. Are we running around finding anything we can about Biden? No, because he's not a threat. Palin is a huge threat to the Dems and I find it amusing all the stuff they are trying to come up with. This woman is going to be the next VP and they can't stand it.

I disagree. Michael is nothing more than a blowhard in the style of the great hypocrite Limbaugh. I doubt RR was disappointed in his kids. A real father wouldn't be. This is old news, I really don't care, but whatever. I always though Ron, Jr. was a gentle and interesting guy.

In the spirit of disclosure, Michael Reagan is a right-wing talk show host, and very opinionated. You love him or you hate him.
I don't hate him simply because I'm not a hateful person, however Michael Regan is a joke, but for his association with President Regan he would be nothing.....nada.
