Very true. Childish issues and fake personal storylines and personalities are the foci rather than issues and proposed policy. It is all fantasy and illusion by all political parties.

And the last time you heard Palin talking after 2008 was when? You sound just like those who have admitted the last words outside the 2008 sound bites just aren't there. Maybe you ought to catch some of her present day utterances so you could see just how stupid she sounds today.

She tends to bring up good issues and she has solid positions and appears to stand on her personal principles by them.
She has a love of God and country that appears null and void with the currant occupant and I think she brings a sense of patriotism and a direction away from socialism to fix things that will be very welcomed.

You and I both know the mainstream press will try and knife her at every turn since she is a Republican and will put a shield of protection around the man child Obama, but people are catching on and when they both speak without a telepromter I think a Palin could at this point kick Obama's socialist butt.
Obama lost tons of Independents, Jews, tons of Whites that took a chance with him and even some Democrats who are sick of him.
Obama will NOT have the numbers he had last time and IMO he will have a tough time winning his reelection.
He can find Big Foot, Noah's Ark, an alien from area 51 and none of it will help him. He is a failed President. He is Carter's second term.

That makes sense, although I don't know why anybody would elect her, if she's just going to quit when the going gets tough. I hate to join the libbers on this, but that's the way I see her. She's a problem, make her go away.

If you google "Palin documentary" you'll find numerous reports today from conservative web blogs speculating on Palin's intentions, just as we are in this thread. My sense is the GOP Right Wing (is that redundant?) HATES the prospect of running Romney/Pawlenty/Huntsman. All are WAY too moderate. They are holding out for someone who can excite the base- like you-know-who.

The Palin film is set to premiere in Iowa next month. Now why would Palin commission a biographical documentary, and have it open in the state that hosts the first caucuses for 2012, if she wasn't running?
There may be reports about the movie on some blogs but, they're not the ones that have kept her popularity up the last few years insulting her. Look, this movie is about making money....it has only a one million dollar budget....you think they'll be running any commercials on TV to market it with a one million dollar budget.....NO! They'll make a profit because, they'll market it with free advertising just like they're doing. If all these blogs are speculating Palin's intentions like you say they are, they're advertising the movie for her free of charge when they do it. That's also why they're going to open it in Iowa....free advertising because, they don't have an advertising budget...they don't need one. They're opening it in Iowa to sell tickets...to market the movie....to make money....not to run for president.....she's making money off the movie along with the film maker (who produced it.....her partner).....jeezzz!

Why would she want to run for president. She's not going to get nominated.....she's not going to run as an independent....she doesn't want a headache of a job that she has to work at day and night and only pays $450,000/year. She's making way more than that now in the media, while she's popular. She's got lots of offers from people that want to make money with her....this movie is one of those offers.

She's not going to announce that she's not going to run and possibly lose some of that star power she's been able to profit from. Although with the way the left obsesses over her, that probably wouldn't make any difference with them.

I would be interested to see who she would pick as a running mate. Maybe Bachmann. It would be important because if got elected she would probably quit if she got offered a hosting job on reality TV.
