Palin greeting the 2008 Alaskian Independants party convention AIP:

There again reaching across the table... working well with others is a foreign

concept in Washington......She and McCain are going to change that and

hopefully inspire people to elect others that have the same ability!

You do realize that the AIP wants to secede from the United States, right? Not very American if you ask me. Downright treason.

I thought she denied any affiliation with them due to them wanting to secede from the US. Besides, why does she need to campaign in Alaska? Oh wait....that's the only place she knows or that knows her. It's easier to talk about the needs of your own state when you have been there for years.

See your attitudes are what is wrong in Washington!

You do not have to agree with any one party to be able to be gracious to them and be able to settle things that both sides feel is right.

this is where Washington is going to be getting a lesson.

So if Al Queda set up shop in Alaska she should bless their work too because they happen to be in the state?

Please.

Secession from tyrannical government is patriotic. It's what this nation was founded on.

Exactly. For anyone to say it's treasonous has no concept of our founding ideals.

Treason? Maybe in the literal sense but sometimes it's necessary.

You truly think that any of these boob candidates are going to be able to do that or are you just following the elephant?

This is pretty much the main plank of the Obama platform.
