Yes, Hawaii makes more sense.

They think that "Alaska is a sanctuary for the chosen/saved ones". If this doesnt smack of intolerance, I dont know what does.

Its interesting no one has countered, or defended her position here. Very telling.

May be the idea of Alaska seceding from the U.S. [like Palin supports] is a good idea. Ship all the Republicans up there & wait for Russia to invade

She may be a book-burning, snake-handling, jibberish-speaking, animal-shooting, fund-siphoning bigot, but don't forget that she's also a hockey mom with lipstick.

And a "pit bull with lipstick" [isn't that appealing?

Since it is on CNN, we can expect the worst. Palin will be mocked as the anti-Christ, some lunatic "bitter American clinging to her religion" (according to Obama) and CNN will have 5 liberals smacking the pastor down from all sides. It will be typical.

CNN... "fair and balanced", as.... well.... they never are!

No, Palin is Pentecostal. She believes that God can heal, but believe in normal medicine. My aunt is extremely Pentecostal (from the Assemblies of God, like Palin) and she takes prescription meds for pain.

But they pray that God will heal her one day.

Let me help you open you MSNBC-controlled mind (maybe MoveOn.org or MediaMatters-controlled mind):

Palin “Joined a Secessionist Political Party” The Charge: Unsubstantiated Internet reports insisted Palin was once a member of the Alaska Independence Party, which critics call a secessionist political movement and supporters say is dedicated to seeking greater state control over federal lands across Alaska.

The Facts: Palin has been a registered Republican since 1982. There is no record of her ever being a member of the AIP, or any party but the GOP. Palin’s husband has been a member of the AIP in the past, but since 2002 has been a registered independent.

But wait!! I am giving you facts, not tabloid stories!! Oh no, you cannot believe in it!!!

Neither McCain nor Palin has been trying to "hide" or "cover up" her religion or church. Her pastor is very willingly going on the air to speak about her church...with her blessings. There are different levels and branches of the Pentecostal/Assembly of God Church, just as there are with other denominations. I am a Southern Baptist (formerly Episcopalian - go figure), but our church does not scream, wave our arms around, lay hands, etc. as some forms of the Baptist faith do. We all believe in the same God, but just wish to worship differently. Nothing wrong with that.

There's such a thing as sarcasm, you know [maybe not since you are Republican

These are the consequences that McCain is creating by not letting Palin speak before the American people & answer questions [not good strategy unless he's trying to hide something - wonder why? .
