Maybe it's the humans that are overpopulated...
Do you have any objective idea at all what happens when a predatorial species becomes overpopulated? This is for the BETTERMENT of wolves as a whole. It may sound illogical on the outside, but do a little research. No offense, because I know the practice sounds very harsh to the uninformed. For the record, I do not own a gun but I do enjoy wildlife and nature.

Because no one (I think) is stupid enough to try to do that on a live wolf. In my experience trapping, coyotes are dangerous enough to handle until they're dead. Wolves, I ain't grabbing a live one...

Oh, and the 'Obama is a Muslim' bit that you all keep going on about: so two years ago.
How about when the wolves are brutally attacking the ranchers livestock?

Do you think someone is going to attack a live wolf for their leg? Have you ever seen what a wolf can do to a person?

What in particular is "savagery" about the wolf control program? The wolves being shot with rifles, same as if they were live trapped by a trapper then killed.

So I guess next you will argue that their is an overpopulation of Muslims (or Liberals) in the world, and that we should thin their numbers for their own welfare?

Maybe you are right. Lets stop sending food and clean water to Africa. Lets stop making medicine and vaccines. Lets stop helping people when hurricanes are coming.

Fine, not Obama and his team. I will give you that. I also am not for the killing of defenseless animals or similar BUT I would like to see more important issues being discussed as opposed to the wolf population of Alaska.

I could also care less about the size of the group or that group or any other group for that matter. I am not running for POTUS nor am I running a campaign. Besides, the only group I care about right now is Americans. That's who they should be pandering to....not blacks, whites, males, females or any other. Americans...plain and simple.

Not the same, what a silly comparison...
