Prior that she changed her little mind because McCain starting targetting her and the bridge. Ironic. Alaska is #1 in receiving federal aid and at the same time with these claims of we want to be self suffienct, she gives back 3k per person instead of having the state fund projects they use federal money for.

Her and McSame dance around questions because they are for the current administration's politics... They offer no change that is why they never discuss strategy or views on issues... They offer more of the same...that is about it...
Even as much of a butt wipe Charlie Gibson was being, he didn't really shake her. I was not big on her as the VP pick at first, but the more I see the more I am impressed. She seems rock solid so far.

Real bottom line is that mayors, governors and even senators are supposed to bring home the money for their constituents -- and both Obama and Palin have brought the bacon home (I don't know how lifetime senators McCain and Biden do with this.)
In a way, being how this is how the system is set up, US political acumen could be measured in dollars brought back home.
Real question is why did Obama and Biden vote against moving the money to Katrina victims.

I think the Dems have plenty of ammunition from the interview. McCain/Palin are in trouble. She has aligned herself with virtually every major Bush policy you could imagine. Politically, she would represent a 3rd Bush term, more so than McCain did without her. The scariest part is that she couldn't come up with any real difference between Bush's economic policy and her own.
