Did you happen to actually read the snopes link you posted? The stylized flag that was on the tail is a registered trademark of North American airlines. It had to be removed.

you are a liar.

All the planes are chartered and it is my understanding that Obama had problems with one plane and has been alternating between a few and they are differant and all need minor exterior adjustments to facilite rules

There is no story here.

What is with some people's obsession with the physical marking of people and objects with symbols to denote nationalism and belonging. Doesn't that remind anyone of anything?

Steve Forsyth, both images are typical of North American Airline planes. "The flag design is used on the tails of all North American aircraft (Boeing 757s and 767s) and is in the corporate logo," said Forsyth.

However, neither image is a part of the Obama campaign's new plane design.

Didn't say anything about not being able to use it! Just that it is a reg trademark of the airline.

Now, it just seems to me that Senator Obama has a problem with the American flag. The evidence just keeps piling up, but you be the judge.

Did you see the Bush/Cheney plane it left the flag on the tail?

The nifty scroll down feature computers have these days is your friend.

Yes. Obama's newly designed campaign plane features the campaign's logo on the tail. However, an image of the U.S. flag appears on the side of the plane.

Imagine that. The flag issue you were maligning him for is proved to be a non issue just a little further down the very link you provided. Or are you now regulating how big it has to be and where? The flag on his plane also appears in the snopes link you provided.

Silly people, worrying about a plane without a flag on it rather than the biggest lost in our stock market since the depression is this what you really care about?
