It seems that there are people who despite the evidence and the candidate's own statements believe Barack Obama is a secret Muslim.
I'd like to know where that leads you in your thinking. I won't place a poll because it seems I am bad at making up enough answers, but here are some possibilities I imagine:
-I won't vote for anyone who isn't Christian.
-I won't vote for a Muslim.
-I won't vote for someone who hides their true beliefs.
-I think Obama has secret ties to extremists.
-I think Obama is aiding terrorists.
-I think Obama wants to make the US a Muslim nation.
-I think Obama is hiding his true agenda.

ignorance...people are dumb and arrogant and think they know everything. they are also lazy and would rather believe what they are told instead of doing some research themselves to find out the truth. they are sheeple, thats all. they are not strong enough to not follow the other ignorant sheeple over the cliff. I have mostly heard this from the religious fundies, which only strengthens my sheeple metaphor.

If people say he is a muslim it might be because when you are born a muslim, you will saty a muslim or you have to convert to another religion....which will result in muslims putting a death warrant on the muslim who is converting, head!
Obama never stated he wasn't a muslim anymore so he is a muslim.

He wasnt born Muslim. Correct me if I am wrong, but he was born in Hawaii to a white Christian mother and raised by her and her white parents.
I would think this would be a non issue if he would of been named Mark Obama.
Funny enough, I think we would be better off if religion was kept out of politics. We are a melting pot of people, cultures and religion. Anyone who is whacked out on their beliefs and not open to others beliefs and non beliefs should not be representing the masses. |
