Let it be clear that just because we don't have our pitch forks and torches, that doesn't mean we agree with what the kid did.

There are laws for this matter. The FBI are investigating. The McCain camp will decide to what extent they will prosecute and the Hacker will have a defense team of his own. They will settle this the American way: in court.

So why don't you lynching repubs put away the pitch forks and stop pretending to be judge and jury.

Here are the key points.
1. The hacker committed a crime, the extent/severity will be decided by a judge.
2. Palin is an idiot, incompetent, and DANGEROUS.
3. Repubs are more upset at point #2 but expressing it at point #1.

Of course, if it had been Obama, I'm sure Major Minor and company on this board would claim that his 'communist, muslim messages' had been deleted....
Refer me to this pressing "government business." I've seen notes from staff complaining about things and sharing ideas. Big deal.

But while y'all are calling her "corrupt" and such, it's been clear from the reports I've seen that there was nothing of substance in that email account. It was clearly for personal communication and not substantive "government business."
Oh really????????

The list of emails include an exchange with Alaskan Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell about his campaign for Congress. Another screenshot shows Palin's inbox and an e-mail from Amy McCorkell, whom Palin appointed to the Governor's Advisory Board on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse in 2007.
The e-mail, a message of support to Palin, tells her not to let negative press get to her and asks Palin to pray for McCorkell, who writes that "I need strength to 1. keep employment, 2. not have to choose."
According to Kim Zetter of Wired Magazine, McCorkell confirmed that she did send the e-mail to Palin.
Subsequently tests by Wikileaks reveal that both Palin's "gov.palin@yahoo.com" and her unrelated "gov.sarah@yahoo.com" account have now been deleted, almost certainly by Palin herself.
According to the Guardian, who has looked at the Wikileaks data, among the emails in Palin's account were several from addresses belonging to her aides, including a draft letter to California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, a discussion of nominations to the state court of appeals, and several bearing "DPS", the acronym for the Alaska Department of Public Safety.
DPS supervises the Alaska state troopers. Could the e-mails in question be relevant to the brewing ethics storm over Palin's push to sack her former brother-in-law from the force?
The contact list included also holds accounts for other official representative's private email accounts, including those of Alaska's Kris Perry and Sharon Leighow.

No details about the DPS emails. They wrote their own speculation, instead.

1. Agreed. And I hope the McCain camp prosecutes to the full extent of the law. And if it were reversed, you'd want the same.
2. Your spin, because you are afraid of her.
3. You wish, but nope.

One thing's for sure: This will hurt Obama, not help him. Thanks, illiterate Dem hacker kid from Tennessee!
