Here's a news story with excerpts supposedly from the hacker that says there was nothing of substance in the email account:

Palin E-Mail Hacker Says It Was Easy | Threat Level from Wired.com

He said he was looking for dirt and found none. It was mainly personal stuff and some clerical mail. I'd guess it was stuff so she'd have access to it while traveling. I've use personal email for business while traveling because of the easy access (unable to access work email on the road).

It sounded like people's imaginations were making more of it that what really was there.

Who will the Obamatons blame? Rove? Halliburton? Faux News?

How's Palin's grandkid doing these days?
Still in the womb. Healthy I hope. I'm sure you hope so too.

The real question, and issue, here, is why would a sitting state Governor use an easily deciphered Yahoo email account to conduct state business rather than a more secure public server???????????

Maybe he can claim it was something God asked him to do. A-la Palin on Iraq. That would excuse it, right?

Really. I thought jacking a person's email account was the "real" issue in this case.

Lot of people blaming the victim here. That ain't too progressive, IMO.

I agree. The Dems have taken a huge step backward since Palin was announced as Reb VP. They have shown what they really think of women and they have shown their true colors about a lot of issues. I'm shaking my head. McCain has to win; we can't let the side of people who think like this in the White House.
