Lightbulb ***

You're welcome.
Joe has been through a lot and he has worked hard to get to where he is.
He can relate to the average American because that is where he came from. He will be an excellent VP.

Um, why should we care? I'm sure he had a housekeeper or nanny to help him out. Most single parents in America don't have that luxury.

His sister moved in with him.

There you go. There's always a woman to help out the male single parents and make their lives easier. At least he didn't find a lady to marry right away so he'd have help -- that's what most of them do.

You mean like McCain did? He got married a couple of days after the ink on his divorce degree was dry. Classy guy.

He didn't claim that he had no help. He said he gets a good salary as a US senator and that he was in a better position than most Americans. His point was that he understands how people in that situation feel and he knows where they are coming from.

You can always count on CD to provide a laugh!

If he did hire a housekeeper, or nanny or his siter moved in or whatever...the point was that he was raising his children without their other parent in their life.

How do we know if Gov. Palin has a housekeeper or nanny? So what? does that mean that she doesn't know what it's like to be a mother wanting the best for her family?

Also, wasn't she saying that she can relate, and IS middle America? I guess this mean that she wouldn't have a housekeeper or nanny right? since most middle America families can't afford that luxury.

Teatime, losing your wife and child is not something to make light of or laugh
about.
