Most people in the government have degrees like undergrad political science, economics, american history etc. Grad J.D, M.B.A, M.D in some cases like Dr. Paul. Call me a elitist but within our country I want a president or vice president to have a degree that further qualifies them to be a president or vice president. A B.A from a college in Idaho in Journalism is not a political degree. To prove my point I do not think she is qualified to run Alaska, being a vp for a very old man with health problems she is not qualified to run the country.
Obama or McCain both spell disaster, but in cases like these Obama would be less horrible than McCain. America needs to vote for third parties to get us out of this rut!

AMEN, AMEN, AMEN ....Even Palin could appreciate those words

Yeah speaking of that---it only took me 1 school and 3 years to get a BA in English (which is much more extensive than a degree in journalism; no OFFENSE to journalism majors out there,) so I thought 'what the heck let's go for another one'...
And I got a second degree in Psychology. It DEFINITELY didn't take 6 schools and I don't even want to know how LONG it took her to get that "degree."...What's Palin's excuse??? Oh wait--maybe she was busy establishing foreign relations with her "next door neighbors."

This may seem shallow, but one thing has irked me about her from the beginning....I NEVER see her in pants (unless I missed it, but doubt it, since they kept her too well hidden). Most women in that role would be seen in both; Hillary took a beating for wearing pant suits (though undeserved), but she also wears dress suits. Palin always wears dresses/dress suits, I DON"T TRUST A WOMAN (POLITICALLY) WHO ONLY WEARS DRESSES! It makes her appear subservient. Of course, this is JMHO.

We've been down this road before. Bush "wasn't so worldly" and we got Iraq and a shattered economy and a President hiding from the public.
The State of things here in the US has been brought about by somebody folksy the "people could have a beer with".
I want my candidates smarter than me, not thicker than a plank of wood. Sarah Palin is evidence the Republican Party is scared about the economy and wants to throw the election.

I wonder if the people of Alaska will agree with you when she loses this election and is up for re-election as governor there. She has just shown the world exactly how clueless she really is.

Dear "IronClad":
Yeah, but we're not talking about UMBC right now are we smart ass? It's irrelevant, side-issues like that that have caused the country to spiral into a trillion-dollar deficit, a flailing global reputation. Pat yourself on the back for that irrelevant comment. Where did YOOOU graduate from?
