This is a sad clip from last nights debate where McCain tried to say "Ahmadinejad" but just couldn't get it out.

YouTube - 09/26/08 Debate: McCain: Ahmadinejad

I bet who knows the lyrics to Bomb Iran.

YouTube - John McCain's chart-topping single "Bomb Iran"

Watch the debate again, it was in the last half hour of it. When referring to Iran, he was talking about what we should do with them and said that if not, "we take them out".

It's not a big deal that he tripped over the pronunciation.

I thought the "we take them out" comment was in the discussion of Pakistan.

I remember it being about Iran, but I'm going to watch again to be sure. Then maybe I'll have a longer quote for you.

I love how Obama helped McCain out with the name at the end. If you listen closely you can hear Obama pronouncing it for McCain.

Obama pronounced Pakistan correctly (Paaak-istaan not "pack"-istan) but Afghanistan should have been similarly closer to afghaan-is-tan. McCain pronounced both incorrectly. Not a big deal either case - just pointing out. Did not remember to check how they pronounced Iran (E-ran or "I" - ran).

The reason why our country is a 2nd rate economic power as of this week is precisely because people have their panties in a bunch about who said 57 states, EE-ran/eye-ran, Czechoslovakia, and Tom/John McCain.
