“Bailout? Ok? Then I’m going to talk to these gals whose sons are also in the service.

But, thankful that John McCain is able to have some of those provisions implemented in that Paulson proposal to have more sound oversight,” Palin said. “Taxpayers aren’t going to be assumed to be called upon to bail out so I’m glad that John McCain’s voice is heard and his leadership too.”

Say what? It's bad enough to be that misinformed but tell me how in the world that above statement is intelligble?! Seriously, read it aloud word for word. It gets worse when you read it out loud.

Directly after Palin gave that rediculous answer, the press was escorted out for 15 minutes and then re-positioned to a staircase in the middle of Di Bruno Bros. which was too far away to hear what the women were talking about or to ask the Vice-Presidential candidate any other questions

Heres where John was last night. Sarah gets cheesesteaks in Philly and John?
As Negotiators Struck Bailout Deal, McCain Dined At Opulent DC Hotel
Was he part of the negotiations that he rushed back to Washington, DC to rescue? Was he valiantly battling the forces of the status quo to get something done for Main Street?

Well, it turns out that he wasn't. Instead, he indulged in a luxury dining experience at CityZen, an icon of haute cuisine in Washington, DC.

I guess they have different campaign budgets

Palin really is a people person. You can tell that from her demeanor and attitude. She'd make a great PTA chairwoman.

Well, after his outbursts earlier in the week, John wasn't so especially welcome on Capitol Hill this weekend. Puttered around at his apartment some. Made a few phone calls. As for dinner, look at it this way. While CityZen is in the quite upscale Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the hotel itself is a sort of opulent island embedded in a somewhat ramshackle and nondescript neighborhood vaguely resembling some parts of South Philly. So it's sort of like he was with Sarah in spirit, what with not really having anything else to do anyway...

Nice way to leap on Sarah before you even know what your taking about. Liberals are going to be in a bad spot it McCain saves the day. Sure would have been easier to fix this in 2003 (bush initiative) or every year after with one of the Republican initiatives ( McCain cosponsored S.190 in 2006, dems opposed all reform measures until this year)
