Palin says Obama 'palling around' with terrorists - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081004/ap_on_el_pr/palin_obama - broken link)

Quote:
Palin told a group of donors at a private airport, "Our opponent ... is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country." She also said, "This is not a man who sees America as you see America and as I see America."

Palin, Alaska's governor, said that donors on a greeting line had encouraged her and McCain to get tougher on Obama. She said an aide then advised her, "Sarah, the gloves are off, the heels are on, go get to them."
Can't run or hide from your radical past and your radical friends. More to come, I'm sure.

Of course, the NYTimes is out with a piece today that tries to downplay the association. Obama must have called.

All that says is that Palin is insane. Trust me. The base may rabidly eat up such nonsense, but it scares the cr*p out of the rest of the country.

He can deny it all he wants, and sadly most of his supporters will believe anything this man says. It's reality though that this man has been and is associated with some bad people. And yet people are ready to make this man President simply because he's not Republican.

You're proud to post this? It makes Palin look even more like a fool than she already did.

Governor Palin can't even identify the General currently in charge in Afghanistan. She sent her son to War and has no idea what the troop levels are, but claims she has some credibility?

Obama does not have any "terrorist" friends. God, you people will swallow anything about Obama, as long as it's hateful enough.

It's Levi Johnston, I tell ya!

I guess that makes Donald Rumsfeld equally disgusting because of his buddy-ship with Sadaam Hussein then? The Reagan administration LUV'd Sadaam Hussein. Oh and Osama was cool with us as long as he was fighting those evil Ruskies.

That's how I feel about McCaininites. They support him simply because he's a white male Republican....he has nothing else. He will fail us miserably.

I wonder if the Obama campaign will start to attack the character of McCain and Palin. Just do a quick Google search. There's more than enough fodder to make the Repugnants wish they hadn't started with a smear campaign. Not like the silly scatology that's been posted in this forum by the repugs.

Quote:
The Republican campaign, falling behind Obama in polls, plans to make attacks on Obama's character a centerpiece of presidential candidate John McCain's message with a month remaining before Election Day.
