Conceding Michigan is huge. That is 18 electoral votes, I believe (or something close to that #)

As long as a few more swing states fall his way, its over.

With an economy like the one we have, the current state of affairs in MI., and McSame being a Bush clone, Michigan shouldnt even be close.

Is Obama the only candidate who can manage a budget? What about our national budget? Clinton runs out of money and now McCain. Obama runs a surplus.

Actually, I am a volunteer (we own property in Michigan and pay huge taxes there) and live in Chicago, but will be going to Michigan in two weeks to work for John McCain.

It's mind control, pass the collection plate and the Hollywood stars... Remember, he changed his mind about accepting the government $$$.

Dont feel sorry for you.. You are backing a candidate who cant balance a budget for the life of him..and also picked a cheerleader for a vp..

Dont worry..It seems half the us population is also braindead for voting for this corpse.

From the compassionate folks on CD. Hope none of you folks are "old". If this doesn't scream liberal what does. One thing none of us can control and you vilified him for it.

I actually started working for political candidates while still in college when I volunteered with McGovern, this is the very first time I am supporting a Republican candidate for president. I am totally energized about it and so excited about the prospect of McCain beating Obama. See, I don't want to be a socialist.

out of curiosity, why is this the first time that you are voting for a repub president? i've always voted democratic and have been tempted to vote repub, but their anti-gay beliefs and their supreme court nominees scare me (i'm a gay man). i do know that bush's tax schedule benefitted me more than the dems because the dems always want to "target" tax cuts to those who they deem worthy. but then the repubs want to give all my tax money to ppl with kids. i'm always stuck with the lesser of 2 evils. i may never get to vore repub unless all of the repub scapegoating stops in my lifetime.
