Poor McCain! He must have let those handlers go home after the debate because this woman is out of control.
"By claiming that Democrat Barack Obama is 'palling around with terrorists' and doesn't see the U.S. like other Americans, vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin targeted key goals for a faltering campaign.

"And though she may have scored a political hit each time, her attack was unsubstantiated and carried a racially tinged subtext that John McCain himself may come to regret."

Absolutely will backfire, I am really starting to wonder if Palin is there just to sabotage McCain's chances.

The analysis was a bit of sanity in the middle of an insane campaign. The chilling part of the analysis is the Republican campaign folks who seemed to think lying at this point is okay.

If you saw the clip of her speaking in Carson, California - do you think she knows better and she's just playing the rubes? Check out her accentless voice on the McCain website's "Welcome from Gov. Sarah Palin" splash page. (There's a thread with a link to it.)

What do you think - which is real? I hope she is playing a role to sucker votes from people she doesn't respect - I'd find that fascinating.

Yes, wow, it seems that way - if the plan for this last month really is to smear Obama with everything they have - but now Sarah's removed every last shred of veracity from herself, from him, and everything they say they stand for!

Think he might drag Cindy out as "the NEW new fresh face - seriously, I'm not kidding this time"?!

one of the reasons why I think this will backfire is because Palin doesnt have credibility

if someone like Olympia Snowe was the VP and she came out and started saying this in a subtle way . . . then maybe

Palin couldnt name a Supreme Court case she disagreed with and a week later came on FoxNews to name them

like really? like who is going to take her seriously?

plus she's avoiding the media

c'mon!!

Maybe she is sabotaging McCain because he is using her as a pawn?
