This is a town hall thing I heard. So what the people who I understand are not committed yet can ask questions to Obama and McCain. Are they on any subject? So they can't really go after each other then. I think Obama will again do well. The last debate is when and on what?

Default Last debate Oct. 15

4. Third Presidential Debate

- Date: October 15
- Site: Hofstra University
- Topic: Domestic and Economic policy
- Moderator: Bob Schieffer
- Staging: Candidates will be seated at a table
- Answer Format: Same as First Presidential Debate
- Closing Statements: At the end of this debate (only) each candidate shall have the opportunity for a 90 second closing statement.

All four debates will begin at 9pm ET, and last for 90 minutes. Both campaigns also agreed to accept the CPD's participation rules for third-party candidate participation.

Hate to tell you, I googled this and got it from a thing called Red County Presidential and Vice Presidential Debate Schedule Released - SAN DIEGO COUNTY (CA), Part of the Red County Network

McCain is supposed to be better with the mavericky style of a town hall meeting. So - maybe he'll be just a great big bundle of cuddles and undo all this damage, ya reckon?

I always wonder if anyone gets their vote swayed by a debate regardless of how bad their candidate does. George Bush was a complete wishy washy cod fish during his debates and I still voted for him because I am a Republican. I think most people do the same thing and their minds are made up LONG before the debates.

BTW - Thanks for the only thread of the day that wasn't based on rumors or slander. LOL!

McCain needs to point out Obama's flaws in policy and judgment but with the same answer tell us why he is better. Since most of America lets the pundits tell them what they just saw he needs to really hit one home.
