As we hear more bad news about the economy, Palin and the McCain campaign continues to ignore the economy and focus on bogus claims of terrorist connections with Obama. It shows they are out of touch. After Palin's vicious claim, an undecided on TV said "Thanks McCain-Palin..I've made up my mind. I'm voting for Obama!"

Actually, from a GOP perspective, it's EXACTLY the time for smears.

It's all they can do at this point and their only hope.
Will it work?
Maybe - it has in the past.
I don't think it will give the GOP a victory this time around though.

Thanks for posting this. They aren't even sure if the bailout bill will work. People need to understand that we may very well be headed for another Great Depression.

Obama's "solution" was the same bailout as mccain, and he even got pork added to it for ACORN. So precisely what is Obama doing? What's his "solution" to the problem? Last I heard Obama was jumping head first into the mud slinging contest...

I'm not worried anymore about a Great Depression. This go around will see the fall of the federal government. Bring it on, I'm sick of the tyrants in DC.

I'm absolutely disgusted that the McCain campaign chose to resort to smears and mudslinging.

All of these supposed great minds should know better given the climate of America today.

And in doing so, the McCain campaign gave the Obama campaign no choice but to fight back.

I would much rather see them working toward a better America rather than choosing (McCain) and being forced into (Obama) tearing each other apart.

Are you going try and convince us Obama will save the economy my taxing the crap out of rich people and giving the middle class what equates to an extra 20 dollars a week?

Its worse for McCain because not only did he claim ownership of the bailout but it has alot of pork in it and McCain promised he would get rid of pork.

Default The 100 year war

As all my Neo-Conservative friends keep telling me, “The only way out of economic Depression is more war”. That’s why they support McCain because as they say, “McCain is the Will Rodgers of war in that he’s never met one he didn’t like”. I’m a little more moderate so my motto has always been- if you want peace, arm for war.

It went from what about 14 pages when proposed to over 400. Every corrupt politician, dem and rep, got a little pork added to it. Why do you think it passed?

Yes, I was under the impression they extended the time in Congress to improve the bill to protect us taxpayers. That is not the case. The reason it took so long, was our politiicans for the people, had to tack onto the bill their pork barrel cause.
