Can we please start focusing on the actual presidential candidates instead of the VP nominees? I could tear down Palin til the cows come home, you betcha, but another presidential debate is coming up & what's more important here?

Ha! I know I know, I'm one to talk, I've done my fair share of bitching about her, but I'm starting to realize that maybe that's their tactic, to deflect the attention away from McCain because otherwise, there would be no contest! And yes, the debate is on Tuesday & I think the final one is on the 15th.

The most important thing you should know is that they both voted for the bailout. They both supported FISA. They've both raised taxes. They both want to meddle in foreign countries. And neither has a singly viable plan to put us back on the road to a stable economy, to really end our dependence on foreign oil, or to put real jobs in the small towns around this country and stop sending so much of our production overseas. Yeah, I've read their plans. Now that they've spent 1.3 trillion of our money, none of that can happen. So now what?

I agree. If people start to understand that the only time Congress works together is to maintain their control over the people. They don't care about us. They only care about them. 3 of these people are from Congress. Palin is the saving grace, and while I don't think waiting for McCain to die is a good idea, she's also not ready to be President of the United States. Not everyone should aspire to that.
