White SOUTHERN men, white RURAL men, who vote overwhelmingly Republican, in some states in the Deep South they vote somewhere in the neighborhood of 70-80% GOP, so it skews the national numbers to reflect a skewed number. White men in New England or Minnesota or Washington state, for example, still favor Obama.
Everyone should already know that, didn't you see the sea of old white ppl at the republican convention?
And its not just asians, arab americans, blacks, hispanics, gays, moderate Christians, atheists, and all kinds of minorities are voting for Obama in higher percentages.
Only old white extreme right Christians vote republicans because that is who republicans cater to ONLY. They don't care to be diverse, whether its race, religion or ideas. Just look at the republican conventions. The problem is they exists in huge numbers, that's why they still have a chance.
I would say that even less can relate to a rich mixed race guy.
who only has 1 house and 1 car.. they can relate to that over someone who can't remember how many homes and cars they own who lived a life of privilege.
this is understandable because the democrat party HATES white men. they are the only demographic that obama didn't "reach out" to.
