I am hoping he will continue to send his kids to the Univeristy of Chicago Lab School where they currently attend as he completes his next two years as the Senator from Illinois.

If checks and balances aren't implemented in the government bailout, the chances of success are greatly diminished. Where were the checks and balances, when AIG officials were at the expensive spas? Government bailout personnel should have issued guidelines and advised the various corporate divisions that a price would/will be paid [ jail time ] if anybody is embezzling money. I can't believe this happened, in light of the Enron fiasco.

Thousands of dishonest people have caused the collapse of the American economy and they should pay the consequences--jail time.

Nothing is going to solve the mess we're in, UNLESS WASHINGTON changes. Washington--change? Ha! Ha! Hold you're breath!

Not passing the bailout would have changed the system. Now, we're stuck with the same system that's hardly going to be revolutionized. We're just throwing big money at the problem. That's not a solution.

Obama offers more hope than McCain, and I'm voting against every incumbent in office.

If you are a believer in big government then you should be willing to step in line and use the government programs just like everyone else. The fact that Obama is pushing for more education, but then will turn around and send his kids to private school stinks of hypocrisy. If he weren't pushing for this then I wouldn't care.

Let me get this straight though, basically you are saying that if Congressmen are hypocritical then it is ok for Obama to do the same?!?

it's the irony of it. libs think governments are the answer, but would never send their child to a government school because government fails at just about everything it tries.

John sent his son's to Brophy College Prepratory in Phoenix, AZ - the most expensive school in the state. I would imagine his daughter will attend Xavier

first of all, mccain is a liberal. this isn't just an attack on obama, it is an attack on the government's faith in what it is producing.

When I taught in one of the private schools up there, we had several children of senators and congressmen. I referenced Sidwell because it was on the tip of my tongue since the Clintons sent Chelsea there.

But if Obama wins he will be a DC resident and unfortunately, they do not have the luxury of good public schools. Who knows.
