Your statment is a pathetic attempt at a rebuttle......didn't work
Rebuttal? I was not rebutting anything mouth breather. I was making a comment. There was nothing stated about anyone buying votes...I made the first comment about it which shows my statement was not a rebuttal.

Obama is as much of a piece of crap as Mccain but since this thread is about Mccain...and I like to stay on topic...I made a comment about Mccain. My boy Abe Lincoln once said "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt." Try it next time.

No one forced the Mortgage companies or buyers to do anything. The mortgage companies saw an opportunity to make money off of the CRA and ran with it. Form there companies (insurance, investment and mortgage) decided to use those loans as investment tools and got burned. Plain and simple. What % of the foreclosed loans are subprime? Answer me that because unless it's 100%....there is blame to be spread to EVERYONE!

And you havent directly addressed my initial question either. I'm not criticizing anyone, Im trying to understand the candidates stances. I just found it very odd and ironic that many of this things he has supported recently (such as the bailout) are in fact very much against Republican ideals (small government, fiscally conservative, free market trumps all, etc), and in some cases even more liberal than what Obama has suggested.

I'm a Democrat and voting Obama. I'm just trying to understand the other side and their rational, which currently to me makes absolutely no sense to me. McCain is for the bailout, and yet he wants a spending freeze in Washington...huh?? He's talking out of both sides of his mouth. If I were a Republican I would probably be supporting Ron Paul.

How do you FORCE someone to lie about what they earn to get a mortgage?

I loved Ron Paul! But look sweetie.....what exactly is your question because I thought I did answer it......I clearly stated that someone needs to do something to clear up this mess that Obama helped create with the housing market......This "bailout" as all the negative, pessimistic people like to call it is simply a way to help out lower class ppl or even average citizens who are way over their head as far as mtgs.....why is this a bad thing??? Maybe if Obama and his clan of Acorns didn't encourage ppl to get into this mess we wouldn't be worried about the economy at all!

To answer your above question as well (so I don't get accused of skipping one).....McCain is above labels....he's not going to allow himself to be confined by the walls of some stupid "democrat" "republican" label....he's for America and all the ppl in it, if that means that he needs to disagree with his party then so be it and he understands that.....he's not the "Yes" man that Obama is.....obama is just plain scary.
