While Sarah Palin’s hometown newspaper hopes its favorite daughter will make it to White House in November, it concedes she will likely come back to Alaska famous and seasoned enough to run for the U.S. Senate.

That editor needs to run a spell check. And who knows.. others who were on losing end of VP tickets did not return to national politics. I think she may be too polarizing for the US voter.

I think she'd do well in the Senate. Plenty of other colorful characters there, and she might even develop the habit of reading a few newspapers daily.

No, she will be a known quantity and considerably older by then (and not quite the "sexy" draw she is for some men now).
