Don't know how I missed this in the article! Was to busy to raed the whole thing interesting nobody else picked it up either....

"I'm thankful that the report has shown that there was no illegal or unethical activity there in my choice to replace our commissioner," she said. "Now we look forward to working with the personnel board."

Outside the Bellevue, Palin, sitting in her car, gave a little back and forth wave to the protesters, who in return gave her thumbs down and rounds of boos.

"Back to Alaska, They shouldn't have Asked ya!" read one poster on the median.

"They are hooligans," said Bucks County restaurateur and McCain supporter Andrew Abruzzese, after he flashed a peace sign at protesters, who responded with raised middle fingers. Another Republican complained of being jostled.

Of Palin's rise from PTA activist to City Council to mayor to governor to vice presidential candidate, Abruzzese said: "You couldn't get a more natural progression than that."

Several Republican attendees complained of the protesters' vulgarity, especially in light of recent criticism of the behavior of people at McCain-Palin rallies.

Outside on Broad Street, waiting for Palin to leave, one man was heard saying: "Let's stone her, old school."

She was there at the invitation of Comcast Spectacor chairman Ed Snider, who runs the Flyers and is a McCain supporter.

Protesting and having signs about issues is fine, but yelling to stone her or anything of that nature is no better than the fools at the McCain/Palin rallies.

Two wrongs don't make a right. I'm glad that Obama isn't instigating that kind of garbage like Palin is, but it's still retarded to behave like such an idiot.

Ok, people in Philly get into fights over who has the best steak sandwich, anyone who whines about being jostled in Philly, obviously isn't from Philly.

I'm sure the guy really said "let's hold her, old school", they really wanted to give her a big Philly hug.

The racist card was again played as well....

Some Flyers fans expressed disappointment with Snider's decision to invite Palin.

"The Flyers need to stop supporting racists," said Seth Munoz, 31, of Collingswood,

who carried a "Flyers Support Racism" sign.

Where it happened doesn't matter...it's still retarded and shouldn't be happening. Implied violence against women is no better than implied violence against a black man. Both are equally as ignorant. I don't see anything funny about it, either.

Philadelphia is a dirty nasty place and the people usually aren't very friendly. Especially when it comes to sports.

There is a fundamental difference in how the ugly tirades are being carried out.

The comment's we've seen and heard at McCain Palin rallys have occurred in the presence of the candidates and until Friday, the rhetoric was encouraged. Palin and McCain are both guilty of being physically present and allowing horrible things to be said. And Palin even incited the crowd by introducing the word "terrorist" regarding Obama in her speech.

The Obama supporters in Phila were standing outside of a hotel. They were NOT at an Obama rally- neither Obama nor Biden were there when it happened.

And I would bet my life that if something like that was hollered out at an Obama or Biden rally, either of the candidates would immediately stop their speech and address the comment as being inappropriate. They certainly have more class and respect than to encourage a crowd to cheer for violence. Unlike born again hockey mom maverick beauty queen six colleges pro life pay for your own sexual assault kit teach creationism soon to be grandma Sarah Palin.
