This Congress is PITIFUL! From the extremist left wing Pelosi and her brood to the Republicans on the payroll who sacrifice their positions in order to secure votes through earmarks....

I am very scared about a far left Executive who will be allowed to push his agenda, along with a far left Congress who will be empowered to do the same...

This feels like a flaw in our system and candidates aside this is enough reason for me to vote against the Dems this cycle.

Actually, normally it is good to have the checks and balances...but in a time of crisis it's not good. It's better to help them be able to actually get things done with less of a fight to fix this mess. They aren't going to screw it up...too much is at stake and they know the whole country would turn on them if they don't do everything they can to improve things. There will be less of the earmark vote buying going on if Obama wins, too.

If Obama wins the republicans will have a lot of damage to reverse in 2012 (or maybe 2010).

Do you have anything to contribute other than sarcasm?

Did the extreme left wing of the Democratic Party have control of the Presidency & The Congress for the last 8 years??

If the Republicans hadn't been burning through money like drunken sailors during the time they were in control of everything we might not be in this mess now.

I don't agree that there shouldn't be a debate or "fight" over the action which will surely be taken by Pelosi and her Brood.

They've screwed it up at every chance, why stop now.

There was just 150 BILLION in earmarks put through by THIS CONGRESS and Obama sat back and said nothing (as did McCain)....

That doesn't exactly comfort me.

Right, and he's not even close to being qualified to do so.
