Two speeches today. One focuses on solutions and specific plans. The other does not. This sums up why Obama will win, IMO.

Obama's campaign says their candidate will deliver a major policy address today in which he'll lay out details of his economic rescue plan for the middle class. He will outline his proposals at a rally in Toledo, Ohio sometime after 1:30pm ET, and CNN will have live coverage of the event.

OTOH, McCain's speech was a generic pep talk focused on winning an election. Nothing else. No solutions, no ideas, no plans. Which tells me a lot.

BTW, here's some quotes from McCain today. "We have 22 days to go. We’re 6 points down. The national media has written us off. Senator Obama is measuring the drapes..." "...My friends, we’ve got them just where we want them...." and "What America needs in this hour is a fighter; someone who puts all his cards on the table and trusts the judgment of the American people."

Nice rhetoric, but people are going to vote for the guy who talks about solutions.
