"High Hispanic turnout expected election day"
October 13, 2008 - 9:32PM
BY CESAR NEYOY, BAJO EL SOL

San Luis, Ariz. -
After historically low voter participation, high Hispanic voter numbers are expected for the Nov. 4 elections, even when the voting culture of this segment of the population usually doesn't allow for high expectations.

This was the conclusion reached by members of the Republican and Democratic parties and Juan Guerrero, coordinator for Mi Familia Vota, whose volunteer staff took on the task of going door to door among Hispanic voters with low voting participation to have them commit to vote in the upcoming elections.

With the well known fact that many hispanics are walking around with
fake and stolen id's. Those who are operating the local voting halls are
going to pass thru illegals and allow them to vote with thier fake id's.
We need I.C.E. doing the security id checks at these voting halls...
not just someone who has no training in id security checks speaking
in spanish.

Agreed. Through the use of demographic research, target high Hispanic population zones and place ICE officials in those areas to deture illigals from stealing the right to vote. (I'm assuming this would kill Obama's chances though, so these security options don't look likely.)

If Hispanics in Texas turn out in high numbers from the Rio Grande Valley, Corpus Christi, El Paso and Laredo, McCain's victory margin in Texas will be much lower than expected.
