McCain or Obama?

Lets say its Sept 10, 2001.

How do you think each candidate would have handled 9-11 if they were in office? Because its very likely that we may suffer another terrorist attack in the future..who would you rather see leading this nation if that were to happen? And please tell me why...Thanks

Obama...he's so calm and rational, doesn't anger easily and he is extremely intelligent. I would be afraid that McCain would have a heart attack and die during a crisis and then Sarah Palin would be in charge. No way I want that...

He is so calm and rational? Has NObama ever faced a crisis before in his life? I mean, other than agonizing over whether to have the chicken or the fish at some charity dinner, has he really faced a crisis?

A president's intelligence, temperament and demeanor are just as important as experience. Health and age are an issue as well. Older politicians who have been in politics for as long as McCain has tend to stagnate and lack fresh ideas and innovation. We ARE in a crisis right now economically. McCain himself has said he lacks economic experience. Obama has more cohesive and well thought out plans and policies.

And again...Sarah Palin is clueless, radical and lets her secessionist husband share her political office with her. I would vote for a dog turd over McCain due to the fact he chose Palin for VP.

I liked McCain in 2000, and I had hoped he'd get the Republican nomination ... and it's delicious irony that some of his staff now heaping the slime on Obama worked for Bush/Rove in 2000 and heaped the slime on McCain!

Frankly, McCain was a different, and much better, person in 2000.

If it was the McCain of 2000, and the Obama of 2000, it's not even close. McCain, baby, McCain.

If it was the McCain of 2008, and the Obama of 2008, again, it's not even close. Obama, baby, Obama.

How can you really, truly predict how a president would react in that situation? Did any of us know how Bush would react? Nope. Personally, I'd love to have Clinton back in office.

You start this thread with a reasonable open-ended question, and then the first person who responds, you jump all over with this kind of nonsense. Nice . . .

McCain would handle it better.

If Obama is president and there is a terrorist attack on 9/11/9, I don't think he would show any emotions to those who were affected because he is not patriotic to America.

But is the dog turd at least 35, was it born a US citizen and what is its previous experience that qualifies it to be President??
