I swear, i sometimes feel exactly like the OP. 8 years of Bush didn't prove it to them, so maybe after 8 years of Palin Bachmann they will finally catch on and send the neolithic conservatives back to the farms and the rest of us can get on with joining the 21st century.

The way I see it ---The dems had their chance they had a president with plenty of political capital and they had a helluva majority....... And this is the crap that we get, they placate big business andpretend thatthe Right is the majority and let them frame all the debates. The dems took a dive........ Why take the slow boat to hell. Full steam ahead with Captain Palin at the helm. I think I am going to be a NEOCON myself now. I've drained about 1.2mil out of the taxpayers contracting over here in Iraq the last few yrs. Im good and could care less about the rest of you that aint prepared. Quit trying to live off me and pull yourself up by your bootstraps. Thats right I am a neocon now baby! Bring it on.

BEst reason to not support them anymore. Lets see what the other side has to offer when given a popular president and a 60+ Majority in the senate.

The parties are two sides of the same coin. To expect one party to be different (in a practical sense, not ideological) is naive.

I disagree somewhat. I think the Rightwing Necon types (ie Cheney, Boltman, Bosell, Rumsfeld) are truly looking to bleed this country dry and then turn around and rule it. By handing power to them it will be easier to see how desructive they are.

as opposed to a left-wing neocon like obama? they are all bleeding this country dry financially through massive military spending on income we don't have.

Kinda funny. All the "elites" crowing about huge government = good, join the 21st Century. It's funny because the Free Market Sytem has flourished for thousands of years, whereas the "share the wealth" system has only been around for only 150 years and has a 100% failure rate. Every Marxist system has crashed and burned and every Socialist system is on life support.
