What?

Let's just say Obama is "very happy" with the way McCain's campaign is going.

He's only trying to save whatever face he has left. He will never admit that anything is going as poorly as it really is! Stubborn old koot

His campaign is like a sputtering jet plane on fire desperately looking for a spot to land... I am glad he is happy about that.

That would mean it should be more like "well, its been a tough campaign and we're a bit behind and things don't always go perfect, BUT blah blah blah..."

But to say "he is happy about how his campaign is going" just underscores his inability to face the nation with credibility.
I will NOT be surprised to hear that McCain is truly happy with the campaign. McCAIN is a MAVERICK. He will oppose what seems like the obvious which angers his own party a LOT.

But he thinks it is a brilliant move and most of the time, it turns out to be a brilliant move.

Like an old light bulb ready to burn out--his brilliance has faded. IE--campaign, Palin, the economy is sound speech...

McCain must be drinking some of this Kool-Aid that people keep talking about.
