LAKE WORTH, Fla. –

Obama says McCain offers 'willful ignorance' - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081021/ap_on_el_pr/obama;_ylt=Avvch8WcjQURSfSpsWlr_eyyFz4D - broken link)

Democrat Barack Obama said Tuesday that Republican John McCain is offering little more than "willful ignorance, wishful thinking, outdated ideology" to an economy in crisis, seeking to capitalize on the main issue that is propelling him forward in the race for the White House.

"While President Bush and Sen. McCain were ready to move heaven and earth to address the crisis on Wall Street, the president has failed so far to address the crisis on Main Street, and Sen. McCain has failed to fully acknowledge it," Obama said at a jobs summit his campaign staged in economically precarious and politically significant Florida.

Ya, willful ignorance about sums it up. Nothing worse than plain old ignorance except for wanting to stay that way.

Default Obama says McCain offers 'willful ignorance'

Well, no one should have the slightest doubt that the GOP's right wing does anything BUT embrace willful ignorance. For them, their ignorance is their most prized possession.

I think they depend on the American public being ignorant. It's the key to Republican success.

Obama embraces willful arrogance. He pays respect only to those who agree with him. He hates everyone who has the basic values of hard work and moral decency. He goes after the latte socialist crowd on one hand and the welfare crowd on the other hand. He hates middle America.

That's what he offers. Willful arrogance.

Why is "Middle America" gravitating towards him, then?

Dude, he is middle America. He's exhibited a lifetime of hard work and moral decency far more than his opponent. His grandma, a woman born and bred in the heartland, raised him right.

your post speaks to your personal vendetta against a man who has devoted himself to serve the middle class. Obama wants the middle class to thrive economically.

Your hero John McCain would rather cater to the rich with the HOPES that prospertiy trickles down to the middle class and just maybe, the poor.

Kinda like the rich urinating on the poor to keep them warm.
