I'm a one issue voter, and damn proud to say it too. My one issue is a moral issue as well. More important than the economy, immigration, etc.

Anyone else have a deal-breaker issue?

I hope you're not talking about abortion?

I find it shameful to be a one-issue voter. No one is going to agree with their candidate's views 100%, and a single issue should not be something that will drive you to vote for an opponent which you may have very little in common with.

Immigration rules the books for me. But since both candidates agree on that issue, I would have to say I have opened my mind a little more.

I think it is sad that there are so many one-issue voters....I have always believed in voting for the best candidate to benefit our country overall.

Originally I guess I was a one-issue voter when this whole campaign started last year. I was proud of Obama's stand on that war in Iraq and felt he made the right decision. From that day on, I supported his candidacy and still do. However, in light of the economy, the choice of Palin, Obama's choice of Biden, the professionalism I see during his campaign, I am now more convinced than ever that Obama is the correct candidate. And... I am an independent.

OK, so how do you square the idea of almost everyone who has endorsed him originally supported the war. Add to that list Gen. Colon Powell who spent 80min before the UN making the case for war!

you must be a one brain cell voter if you don't think that illegal immigration has not cost this country a great deal of money economically! i am sure that how palin looks in a dress is a bigger economic issue to some people, but most people understand the financial ramifications of illegal immigration, including the legal immigrants who went through the proper channels to get here and contribute to our society!!

I'm not a one issue voter but I do feel strongly that women deserve choice. And I could never imagine voting for someone who would try to take that away from us.

I don´t think the OP was referring to immigration when he was describing himself as being a one issue voter.
