These poll questions seem to be a 1st grade class project, seriously. Obama aren't fighting per se, it's Berg who brought upon these ridiculous charges.
There is no reason for Obama to respond, not before filing to dismiss on subject matter jurisdiction, which is important before getting into the merits of the case and which Obama and the DNC did. Tsk...tsk... so many people quick to jump the on the bandwagon on this one. Pundits that feel Obama is guilty... can you answer one genuine request for me please. I've been diligently investigating this case yesterday and today... and have, as of yet to see the actual motion to dismiss Berg's case denied, in writing... even in the de facto online Law Resource: Lexus Nexus.
What I have found is a bunch of hear say scuttle butt on a bunch forums and blogs with links to Berg's reguritated press statement (ad naseum I might add) where he is 'confident that the motion to dismiss will be denied'. That's a far cry from the motion being denied.
When you actually delve into the reason why the case should be dismissed on subject matter jurisdiction, the plantiff has no standing to sue; he didn't suffer an injury, he has not cause of action it begins to make perfect sense. See McCain's recent case/court ruling on the very same topic (Hollander vs. McCain). Folks, it's like De Ja Vu... it's a 'generalized interest of Berg' not a personal one. Hillary has more crediblity to sue. This would also explain why Obama and the DNC have not entertained the court with actual evidence of his birth in Hawaii.

This whole slippery slope that Obama is hiding something by not being forthright is absolute BS. It would set a very bad precedent if he just relinquished any/everything that was demanded by Berg. What lawyer does that? Not a good lawyer who understands federal rules of civil procedure, that's for sure

Surrick ruled that Berg's attempts to use certain laws to gain standing to pursue his claim that Obama was not a natural-born citizen were "frivolous and not worthy of discussion."
Well, that settles these silly allegations (as if they weren't baseless to begin with). If I were the person that created this poll, I would be really embarrassed.

You mean the same Atty. Berg who claimed he had a tape of Obama's grandmother that he was going to produce "in a day or two" from last Friday (the 23rd)?
The same Atty. Berg who was going to "immediately appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court" when his suit was struck down the same way the two suits against McCain's citizenship/candidacy were?
Why would anybody care what this man says, at this point?

He has no basis for his appeal. He has no evidence (just as you have no evidence).
And appealing to David Souter is not going to help him.
You keep demanding "proof" from Obama, but buying into Berg's claims that he makes with NO evidence. Why is that?
(And what is with Berg's bizarre use of quotation marks around the word "not," anyway?)
If Barry H, is good to go as a U.S. born citizen, and fully LEGAL to run for the Presidency, then they (the dem's) should....SHOULD be smart enough to produce the valid documents to prove it and MOVE ON...put the controversy to bed...
But...obviously there IS some issue with B.H.O.'s status....and so they are (foolishly) trying to hold the lid down on it....but it won't work, never does....
Just like the LA Times video of Obama palling around with known Palestinian Terrorists....it WILL eventually get out and won't make him look good at all...(not that it could get much worse)...

If you were good to go as a U.S. citizen, you would accept the court rulings, the decision by the U.S. Department of State, and the State of Hawaii, all of which disagree with you.
Because they want Obama to be president. Then the DNC will release the birth certificate of Obama which will result in Obama being disqualified from the presidency because he was born in Kenya. Biden then becomes president.
if obama gets tossed because he is able to be potus, then we have something called a constitutional crisis. one where you could end up finding that the liberals be really embarressed and not able to hold onto either house or potus.
