Anybody else find it a little hypocritical that Democrats want to GOVERNMENTALIZE our private retirement accounts through the SS office no less?

"Powerful House Democrats are eyeing proposals to overhaul the nation's $3 trillion 401(k) system, including the elimination of most of the $80 billion in annual tax breaks that 401(k) investors receive.
House Education and Labor Committee Chairman George Miller, D-Calif., and Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash., chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee's Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support, are looking at redirecting those tax breaks to a new system of guaranteed retirement accounts to which all workers would be obliged to contribute."

McCain wants to spend $250 Billion to buy home loans.

Bush just begged for $700 Billion to bail out rich bankers.

And Bush presided over a failed war that has costed us $600 Billion and counting.

And you have the audacity to even talk about spending??

hahahahahahaha. good one.

off topic, but Clinton proposed spending $250B to buy home loans (an idea McCain copied), and Democrats just spent $700B to bail out rich bankers, and $600B for a war, I suggest you learn what branch of govt spends money. (hint, its not the WH)

The first piece of legislation we're going to put through is the liquidation of momonkey's assets for the good of the people.
