Actually, that bag costs closer to $1000, not $300. Who the H would buy a Louis Vuitton bag for a 7 year old? With RNC funds, no less? Nevermind...apparently her mother the "fiscal conservative" would. Unbelievable.

Correction: The relates-with-Joe-the-Plumber, everywoman, hockey mom will have a VERY nice, VERY expensive, DESIGNER wardrobe...and, apparently, so will her children...all at tax payers' expense. Yay fiscal responsibility.

Remember she is John's latest trophy and he wants her looking fabulous for his ego as he shows her off. You know what people are thinking when they wonder how in the heck she got selected.

Hillary Designer: Palin Spending Strange, Designers Vie to Dress Political Candidates - CBS News
“Why do you need to pay for it?” Forest told CBS News from her boutique Susanna Beverly Hills saying that most designers would offer to clothe a candidate for free. “It’s an honor, you are going to design for someone who could be the president of the United States,” noting that the exposure any designer would get from dressing someone as famous as Clinton or Palin would be worth much more.

I never wondered. She was picked because she was an attractive female....they OBVIOUSLY didn't check any further nor feel they had to.

Default Now this is stunning the clothes and the karl Rove connection

Jeff Larson: Sarah Palin's Personal Shopper Is Karl Rove's Former Protégé
As news of Sarah Palin's $150,000 shopping spree unfolds, The Atlantic reveals that Sarah Palin's personal shopper, Jeff Larson, has an interesting resumé.

Does the name Jeff Larson sound familiar? It should. Larson is the Karl Rove protégé who's a principal in the robocalling firm of FLS Connect (the "FLS" stands for Tony Feather, Jeff Larson, and Tom Syndhorst, all veteran Republican political operatives). Larson's firm is the same one that launched the scurrilous robocalls against John McCain in 2000, and that McCain has now hired to make robocalls connecting Barack Obama to Bill Ayers.

Does one really think that she would give the clothes to charity at the end? Seriously? Granted, she might sell them for charity on an auction and if she does, I would give Caribou Barbie points for this. However, it's totally flies in the face of her "Joe Sixpack, regular American, hockey mom", sham.

The Republican National Committee has spent more than $150,000 to clothe and accessorize vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and her family since her surprise pick by John McCain in late August.

According to financial disclosure records, the accessorizing began in early September and included bills from Saks Fifth Avenue in St. Louis and New York for a combined $49,425.74.

The records also document a couple of big-time shopping trips to Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis, including one $75,062.63 spree in early September.

The RNC also spent $4,716.49 on hair and makeup through September after reporting no such costs in August.
Another thread on this?
It looks like Sak Fifth Avenue, Neiman, etc. RIPPED OFF RNC. Palin does not look like $150K after the makeover. She and her family look like a regular family.

I think that would be the last straw for people who are trying to decide who is really for the average American! Total irresponsibility!
Disgusting! Since they were caught, they say they will give it to charity? Yeah right! If you believe that, I have a bridge to nowhere I want to sell you!
