After the liar goes back on his pledge to use public finance we now witness one of the most excessive and wasteful examples of spending every in an election...
I know the spin is that these are "private donations" mostly of small denominations, but anyone who believes that has rose colored glasses on... We all know about Obama's "bundlers"....
Not only did he break his pledge, but he has discovered and created every way possible to use money to influence an election.
This country is in economic crisis and he sees it fit to spend almost a BILLION dollars on his quest for power...
Obama, ready at day 1... to spread your wealth around!
Most of his money comes from small donors, like me. Every month or so, I gave $25, until it was up to $150. Add millions doing that, and you have a lot of money.
And, nobody can win without money, unfortunately. Any of us who wanted to run for President (which, supposedly, anyone can) would not be able to unless we raised big money.
I was thinking the same thing. It's a disgrace that a politician would spend the kind of money that Obama spent on a single campaign. I do think it says something about his attitude toward spending money. The fact that he reneged on his promise to McCain (and the voters) on which funds he would use is also telling.

Well, he WAS making lots of money, and it makes sense that he decided to change his mind. He knew he'd have lots more to work with, and anyone running has to have HUGE amounts of money. Look at all the people he has in every state, compared to what McCain has. And, a good deal of his money comes from "The People".

A) It's DONATIONS from supporters for him to get elected. Looks like it's working so far.
B) There are reports out monthly on how much he has been getting. If people really cared they would stop donating.
C) The money is actually going back into the economy because he has been purchasing goods and services as well as paying people. It's not like the bailout that is just giving money back to those that caused this mess.

Well, let me put it this way. I'm nearly 54 years old and have NEVER donated to a political campaign before this - and I've given 3 times to the Obama campaign ($100 bucks each the first two times and $200 bucks the 3rd time) so I KNOW from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE how the campaign gets it's money.

Ken
And I am sure that ALL of us will get to "donate" even more money to him soon in the form of more taxes if/when he wins.
This is the first time in my life I have ever donated to a politician and I always check the no box on my tax return; this year I felt compelled to donate to the Obama campaign. What's $250 after all?

It says enough that of that money that he rceived from his fans, he isn't given 1 dime to his own blood brother, so much for spreading it around.....he is just spreading amongst Rezko who got $ 14 million in tax money after his sweetheart house deal, etc....
Phony emty suit! Nobama!
